Welcome/Marhaba! I am an Egyptian-Canadian historian who is passionate about historical studies and the incredible benefits of imparting critical thinking, reading, and writing skills to new generations as we work toward a more compassionate and interconnected future. A commitment to public education in all its forms inspired my founding Egypt Migrations: A Public Humanities Project in 2016. I believe that the educational journey is a collaborative effort within the classroom and outside of it. I capitalize on this capacity for innovation in digital technologies to engage learners and take a leadership role within educational institutions and non-profit organizations to manage teams, resources, and priorities behind teaching, research, and community outreach.
